So what brings this post about?

Recently during a Monday morning Mom Masterminds breakthrough session a question was posed to all of us there – do those around you know what you’re most passionate about in your business? That question really made me stop in my tracks and think about everything I’ve ever wrote about here or everything I’ve ever talked about on Twitter, etc. I was shocked when I skimmed back through posts on here to only find one, there may have actually been two, about my MP3 audio transcription services.

Here’s just a few reasons why I’m passionate about my transcription services:

• Helping small business owners create content in ways they didn’t think about (for example – did you know you could have an audio testimonial transcribed?)
• Helping small business owners create content that will be an added benefit to an information product they are selling (for example – transcribing the audio that goes along with the product they are selling & turning it into a transcript)
• Helping small business owners re-purpose their content (for example – taking audio from a teleseminar & turning it into a transcript that can be broke p into articles, blog posts, etc)

Those are a few of the reasons I’m so passionate about transcribing. There’s just something about getting into my ‘zone’, fingers flying over the keyboard and foot tapping on my foot pedal that puts a grin on my face.

This passion I have for transcription shows in the work I do:

• Clients don’t have to wait more than 2-3 business days for a transcript for a standard 60 minute audio recording where most other transcription services providers have about a 5 day turnaround.
• Clients don’t have to pay extra for a cleaned up transcript like other transcription providers charge.
• My accuracy means clients don’t have to spend extra time going over my work when they get it back!
