How Do I Know I Need A Virtual Assistant

One of the most frequent questions I get asked from potential clients is “how do I even know I need a Virtual Assistant?”

My response to that question is to ask them “are you spending so much time checking emails, submitting articles, etc that you don’t have time to work on profitable projects?”

I often find that clients I work with devote so much time to doing daily tasks such as checking emails that it leaves them feeling frazzled, overwhelmed and not enough time to work on something that will produce an income stream for them. In fact I work with one client right now that was spending hours a day checking and responding to her email. Once she felt comfortable enough to turn over the ‘reigns’ to me she was amazed that I was doing this project in 2-3 hours a week, what she was spending on it daily!

If you are a ‘newbie’ to outsourcing I don’t recommend you start out having a VA control your email. That’s a pretty big project and something you need to have done by someone you feel comfortable with and trust. But there are definitely other things that are ‘keys’ that clue you in it’s time to start at least thinking about hiring a VA.

Here are some key points to clue you in that it’s time to think about hiring a VA:

  • You don’t enjoy submitting articles/press releases
  • You spend hours a day/week/month submitting your articles or press releases
  • You don’t enjoy managing content on your blog
  • You are unorganized and forget appointments, interviews, etc
  • You need to set up an autoresponder series but don’t have the time
  • You don’t enjoy the things you are working on so you procrastinate

Those are just six things of many that are clues it’s time to start looking to hire a Virtual Assistant. Let Tishia Saves Time take the tedious tasks you not only spend too much time on but don’t enjoy doing off your hands.
