Why it’s better to start small

By Tishia

small-suckySometimes I struggle…okay, I struggle a lot 😉 with perfectionism. I always think that I can’t release a product, publish a blog post, do a video, etc. unless it’s perfect. And unfortunately that’s prevented me from doing a lot of things in my business.

That’s why I fell in love with a post I recently came across by Marie Forleo where she shared an important message about letting go of perfectionism.

There were a few gold nuggets I got from what she was saying:

But what if the key to unleashing our courage and using our talents to change the world means giving ourselves permission to start small and sucky?

Starting small and sucky beats staying stucky.

What I ended up taking away from it all is that we have to take action and just do something to get started. It’s all about making progress and improving things as we keep moving forward.

Check out Why It’s Smart To Start Small and/or Sucky and see what your takeaway is.
