It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing, it’s normal to see people all around you on their phones. The same is true even at live events. It used to be considered rude to be on your phone while at an event but now it’s welcomed and even encouraged.
This article I found over at Duct Tape Marketing was geared more towards people putting on events, but it was still interesting to read. I was especially intrigued by these statistics:
